What’s it all about?

Welcome to Atlantic-Quest.com – my online journal of events as I travel across the Americas during my gap year.
When I first decided to go travelling, it took me a long time to decide where to go – after all, the world is a big place! After narrowing the choice down to a handful of places, I eventually decided on the Americas. Why?
It’s pretty simple: Where else can you visit:
- Amazon Rain Forest
- Blue Hole in Belize
- Iguazu Falls on the Rio Parana
- Torres del Paine
- Parque Nacional Los Glaciares
- Pantanal
- Galapagos Islands
- Lake Titicaca
- Patagonia
- Machu Picchu
- Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia
- Valle de la Luna
- . . . the list goes on. . .
These places are so beautiful, so unique! I just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to be able to visit such amazing places in one trip (albeit 9 months). I hope to be able to experience them all & much much more during my 9 months there.
This weblog was created primarily for family & friends to keep up to date with my travels – but of course, anyone who is interested is welcome to follow along. You will be able to keep track of my journey through regular updates (i’ll try to add as many photos as possible!).
I welcome interaction & if you have any recommendations of places to visit, please add them & i’ll do my best to fit them in!
See you when I get back. . .
Bon Voyage!!!
